Overview
The LEAN 6 Black Belt program is an advanced Lean Six Sigma training course designed to provide an extensive knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, and Change Management. The prerequisite for entry into the program is prior completion of a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training program. Please contact LEAN 6 for further details.
The curriculum provides participants with the skills required to manage, champion and influence the outcomes of large strategic projects. Practical simulations and exercises are utilised to provide a real world context for participants throughout. During the program, participants gain competency in the use of either SigmaXL™ statistical software. Practitioner certification is provided via our partnership with the Australian Society for Quality (RTO ID 22526).
All programs are instructor led and delivered at our CBD training facility with lunch and refreshments included. Client based training can be delivered on-site or off-site at our CBD training facility.

Certification
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is awarded post-training via our partnership with the Australian Society for Quality (RTO ID 22526) upon successful completion of:
- An online knowledge assessment
- One business improvement project
The knowledge assessment is conducted on an open book basis for approximately 90 minutes. Guides, templates, and support are provided for the business improvement project.
No additional fees apply.
